Thank you for your interest in a custom piece of artwork! I primarily create paintings and drawings of well-loved animal friends. Custom pet portraits make fantastic gifts, especially for honoring a companion that is no longer with us.

The Process

1. Pick your subject matter.

Many of my clients chose to have their pets painted, but I also do landscapes and wildlife. Please see my gallery for an idea of my artistic style to ensure it is what you are looking for.

2. Think about your desired composition.

Do you want a plain white background or a scene? You also have the option between a true portrait-style painting, or a full-body composition. If there is a particular photograph you would like replicated, please ensure that it is high-quality. If you wouldn't have it blown up and hung on your wall, then it likely will not be a great reference. Remember- the higher quality the reference, the higher quality the art! 3. Pick your size and surface.

My options for canvas and paper size are nearly limitless. In the contact form, you can choose your desired size if you already know which one you would like. Canvases are great if you aren't looking to frame your artwork, while paintings on acrylic paper allow for easy placement into a frame (especially if you already own the frame!) 4. Send the installment payment to begin the process.

I require a 25% initial installment on all of my commissions. This payment allows me to get the necessary materials for the project. The remaining balance is due upon completion. Upon receipt of payment, your artwork will be shipped/delivered.
